Flocabulary's Guide to Free Online Crossword Puzzle Making Programs

We've created this list to help teachers find the best free online puzzle generators. Primarily, we create music-based learning tools, which you can preview for free.

Generator Sites:

Eclipse - You'll have to download this fairly awesome piece of software, but its free and gives you lots of flexibility when creating your puzzles.

Finecrosser - You'll have to download this one too. It creates the so-called "swedish-style" crossword puzzles with clues right in the squares. Not exactly standard, but not bad for making crosswords.

Crossword Puzzle Games - Enter up to 20 words and hints into a list, click “create my crossword puzzle” and enjoy.

Dot Net This - A list of downloadable crossword puzzle/word puzzle generators.
