"The Even and Odd Game Show"

Still need some more practice with evens and odds? Master even and odd numbers with “The Even and Odd Game Show” with your host, Stephen Todd. The activity in this song helps students review the concepts of even and odd in a deeper way.

Hello, everybody! Welcome to the Even & Odd Game Show, where if the answer isn’t even, it’s very, very odd! I’m your host, Steven Todd.

Today’s show is brought to you by Math. Math: If you don’t know it, you’re in a lot of trouble! Now let’s meet our contestants.

Our first contestant is a rapper from Queens, New York; they call him "Trajik." Trajik, tell us a little about yourself.

"Thanks, Steven. My name’s Trajik. Shout-out to my moms and all the mathematicians everywhere! Let’s see…I like cartoons, I like dancing—on cardboard boxes, that is. And I’m definitely going to know the difference between odd and even. So don’t sweat it, Steven! You like that?"

Ha ha! Of course we do, Trajik. And our next contestant: Coming all the way from wherever you are, it’s you! The listener! So, listener, tell us a little about yourself!

Phenomenal! This will truly be a clash of the mathematical titans! Here’s how we play: I’ll say a number and you say if it’s odd or even. Listener, your goal is to say the correct answer at the same time that Trajik says it.

"Ding." There’s the bell that means we begin.

Are you ready? Here we go.
