Flocabulary presents: The Week in Rap
What's The Week in Rap?
Each Friday The Week in Rap brings you:
- A current events music video
- News summaries
- Links to full news stories
- Activities and quizzes to test comprehension
Can I see a sample?
Yes. You can check out this free sample unit. Even better, sign up for a two-week free trial and you'll get access to two new Week in Raps plus all of the archives.
How do I subscribe?
Just visit our Digital Subscription page. You'll be able to get access to Flocabulary content, the Week in Rap or both. We have monthly plans starting at $5, and yearly plans for $45. You can purchase a single teacher/parent subscription or get access for students on your classroom computers and at home.
Are there school plans?
We do accept purchase orders from schools and districts, and we can customize a package for your school. You can view our school pricing here, and if you'd like to purchase a site license, please contact us.
When can I expect a new Week in Rap?
A new Week in Rap will go live each Friday. And for the first year ever, The Week in Rap will continue throughout the summer.
My school blocks YouTube and Vimeo. Will I be able to watch the Week in Rap?
Yes. We are now hosting the Week in Rap videos on our own site, which means you can stream the videos without worrying about firewalls. As long as you can visit flocabulary.com from your school computer, you'll be able to watch The Week in Rap.
Thanks.
We started The Week in Rap three years ago because we wanted to give students a fun and exciting way to stay connected with the world around them. We hope the newly improved Week in Rap will do an even better job of motivating and teaching students. Thank you for using The Week in Rap and spreading the word to your friends and colleagues. Without your support, we wouldn't be here.
